The festival looks to combine both local and out of town talent to celebrate the diverse art scenes of Kamloops and the rest of BC. The evening is set to begin at 7pm with a two hour visual art exhibit, displaying various mediums including canvas art and film. At 9pm the music portion of the festival will begin, highlighted by performances from two indie rock acts, Kelowna's Treelines (www.myspace.com/treelinestheband) and Vancouver's Cairo (www.myspace.com/whenincairo). Cairo has extensive roots in Kamloops as three of the four members grew up in Kamloops before migrating to the coast. He's a headliner for the Shambhala Music Festival every summer and has performed for clubgoers worldwide on 5 different continents and over 25 different countries.
