| Description: The Vancouver based band Anything But is looking for local Kamloops acts February 21 for a show at The Dirty Jersey. We are doing a mini tour to Calgary during Alberta / British Columbia reading week. We are releasing our EP on the tour which could be described as Lyrical Rock. | Established Songwriter/Performer/Recording Artist seeking musicians |
| Description: I have been performing solo around Kamloops since moving here in Aug 2010 in various venues, including opening for some awesome blues bands from Victoria. I would like to work with other dedicated musicians who are interested in carrying on this work with me. I don't mind a few cover songs here and there although my focus is on developing original material (mine and yours) for performances and for submitting to music publishers/recording companies. Primarily I seek a lead instrumentalist (guitar preferably although I am more than keen to listen to and work with talented lead players of other instruments!) who can hopefully sing harmonies, as well as a percussionist. I am easy-going and fun to work with as long as people are dedicated and professional ~ if you are all that, I would love to hear from you. You can check out my music to decide if you are interested in my style, which encompasses high energy blues/rock/country/folk and at times bluegrass/mountain ~ you name it, I'll sing it! |

I offer fun and affordable private lessons in the art of drumming. In our one-hour sessions I will teach you the basics of drumming, and quickly have you rocking the kit!!!!
About Me:
New to the West Coast, I am a drummer of 15 years; I play independently and as part of a band [live and studio]. I took private drumming lessons at a young age and have since been self-taught. My experience includes teaching one-on-one lessons at “Rock This Way – School Of Rock” in Burlington and Oakville, Ontario, along with private classes throughout the Greater Toronto Area and the Lower Mainland. I offer drumming lessons to all students; from beginner to intermediate classes, any age! In these sessions I teach basic rudiments, timing, tempo, rhythm and stick control with a large emphasis on kit drumming.
I most enjoy teaching students with a drive to learn and excel; I will challenge you and push you to become a more sophisticated and improved player.
